Pivot Point Calculator

Today's support and resistance levels from yesterday's high, low and close — three methods side by side.

Pivot point calculator (classic, Fibonacci, Camarilla)

Pivot points turn yesterday's high, low and close into today's support and resistance grid. They are the most widely used objective levels in intraday forex trading because every trader computes the same numbers — which is exactly why price reacts at them. Read yesterday's values from a daily chart on the charts page and enter them below.

Pivot point & key-level calculator

Enter yesterday's high, low and close (from the chart above) to compute today's classic floor-trader pivots, Fibonacci pivots and Camarilla levels.

S3L − 2 × (H − P)P − (H − L)C − (H − L) × 1.1 / 4

Which pivot type should you use?

Classic pivots are the default for most traders and work well as trend targets. Fibonacci pivots sit closer to the pivot and suit range days. Camarilla levels cluster tightly around the close and are popular with scalpers who fade R3/S3 and trade breakouts of R4/S4. Where two methods place a level within a few pips of each other, treat that as a confluence zone — see our key levels today page for the daily readings on the majors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which close should I use for pivots?

Most forex traders use the 00:00 UTC daily close or the 17:00 New York close. Pick one and stay consistent.

Do pivots work on the 4H chart?

Daily pivots are designed for intraday charts (15m–1H). For 4H trading, use weekly pivots computed from last week's high, low and close.
